Here are the days so far -
1dp5dt
- Exhausted from traveling
- Migraine - vomit, pain, couldn't eat for 24 hours. Ended up sleeping 12 hours to get rid of the pain. Migraines are pretty common for me at least 1 a month, so I'm not sure I can count this as a 'symptom'
- Weird dreams - dreamt that for some reason, DH had left a fish fillet in the shower and I discovered it days later after the smell took over our house. Where the heck did that dream come from?
- Headache
- Nauseous
- Dizzy
- Weird dreams - I dreamt that a high school friend was really rude to me when I asked for her help with something. When I woke up I was so mad and really wanted to delete her from my FB friends list. I don't really keep in touch with this person. Don't think I've talked to her since hs, so I have no idea where that came from. Very strange.
- Tightness in cervix area - I noticed this while inserting the Crinone applicator
- Bloated
- Maybe crampy?
- A slight tinge of heartburn - again, maybe this one is a big imagined one
- Smells - my husband was eating tuna from a can for dinner and it really grossed me out.
- Tightness in cervix area, overall, just feels strange
- Emotional, feeling sad
- Slight cramping
- Diarrhea
- Smells bothered me a bit
- Tiny little brown spot on panty liner - I have no idea what this was, but I'm hoping it's not AF making it's way here
So that's what I've noted so far. I'm not feeling very optimistic today. I can't really explain why. Maybe all the googling of symptoms? Why, oh why do I torture myself? IF has officially made me crazy...
I'm guilty of googling symptoms and was so positive I was pregnant last month. Nope, not even a little.
ReplyDeleteTrying hard to not put myself through that this month.
(hello from ICLW)
It's torture! Why do we do it to ourselves? I'm so terrified to see that lonely little line :/ Let's say it together - "Don't POAS! Don't POAS! Don't POAS!" :)
DeleteLots of luck!!! I did a similar symptom countdown after this transfer, when I thought I was out.... and I'm currently nearly 8 weeks. Hoping the same for you! xxx
ReplyDeleteThat's very reassuring. Thank you for the encouragement! And Congratulations on your little bean! :)
DeleteWhen my friend was in the throes of IF she goggled her symptoms too, until her husband made her stop. I think I'd be the way she was too, if I let myself Google symptoms - I'd start obsessing and drive myself nuts. Hope you can stay sane and even more, hope the symptoms you're feeling strengthen and you get good news!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Megan! Good thing is that we'll know one way or another in only 2 more days :)
DeleteMy fingers are crossed for you! The two week wait is really a special kind of torture-- every ache and pain appears to surely be something! I am not on day 31 past 5 day transfer and while things are looking good (saw two heartbeats!!) it is still a crazy waiting game and as you mentioned, I am still googling EVERYTHING!! Argh! Best of luck to you and I will be returning to your blog to see how it goes:)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reassurance. It really is a mind game. I hate it!
DeleteVery excited for you and your two miracles! So amazing!
Hi from ICLW! I'm really bad for googling my symptoms and it honestly just drove me crazy. Now I have to rule to never ever google any symptom again...let the test determine! It's just so hard because we're so hopeful and so excited! I wish you the very best!
ReplyDeleteYup! You're right. Only 2 more days and I'll know for sure if the twinges are a baby or just gas ;)
DeleteHere from ICLW. Sorry to hear you've been sick during the 2 week wait - it's harrowing enough as is! It's really hard not to symptom spot, isn't it? So many times I've told myself I'm not/I won't, only to find I'm still doing it. sometimes there's nothing to do but embrace the crazy! Wishing the best for you.
ReplyDeleteYes, embrace the crazy! That's all we can do in this IF journey. Thank you for stopping by.
DeleteHere from ICLW... I'm a few days behind you and currently 6dp3dt. No symptoms yet except for a little nausea in the afternoon, but that could just be the progesterone, too. I don't have any home tests, so I'm not tempted to pee on a stick before my beta this Sunday. Best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting that we are only a few days apart on this cycle! I have five HPTs left over and trying really hard to wait.it.out. Only 2 more days!
DeleteGood luck to you too! I'll be following you along this journey.
Hey there! Welcome back to blogging, congrat's on baby #1, and best wishes on baby #2!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteBeing crazy isn't so bad! At least we're the fun group of the bunch!
ReplyDeleteI agree! :)
